Damage Claim Policy & Procedures

At  A+ Movers, we take great care in handling and transporting your belongings, but we understand that accidents can happen. In the event that any of your items are damaged during the moving process, we offer two options for coverage:

Coverage

  • This coverage is included in our standard moving rate and provides protection for damages up to $0.60 per pound per item.
  • If a claim is made under this option, we will repair the damaged item if possible or compensate you based on the item's weight and the declared value.
  • To take advantage of this coverage, it is important to provide an accurate and complete inventory of all items being moved.

    Procedure for Filing a Damage Claim:

    • If you discover any damage to your belongings within 7 days of delivery, please contact our customer service department to report the damage.
    • You will be required to provide detailed information about the damage, including photos and receipts, if available.
    • Our team will review your claim and determine the appropriate course of action based on the coverage option you have selected.
